Sanctuary. I watch tiny house and Never too Small videos a lot. Don't know what I'm looking for, except maybe a lazy escape from the clutter of living in the same house for almost 48 years; but your word Sanctuary is the word of the day for me! That's what I see in these videos. Your sanctuary is beautiful, cozy, and full of light. A nice place to 'wait', perhaps, but a better place to LIVE. You keep life in your sanctuary by your writing, your love, and your Light. Love the poem Trish!! Happy New Year!!!
I am so attracted to the tiny house concept -- but I live with a big, tall man and when we had a 1400 square foot place in NorCal, it felt pretty tiny indeed. But you're right: there is no sense waiting for the perfect writing space to start writing!
I will think of my entire apartment as my sanctuary, which is such a nice thought! With my laptop I usually write lounging in an Adirondack chair in my living room (I know, you were picturing me with a nice outdoor garden for that Adirondack chair or perhaps perched on my fire escape).
Another fine piece of writing from your soul, and very poetic.
Thanks Maria. I appreciate your encouragement and support.

Thanks Jan. We went from a camper to a tiny house so it felt like a castle to us.
It's all relative, isn't it?

There is something so appealing about apartments for me! They come up in my writing all the time....
You sure have your computer when I picture you Peggy and the great memories of your editing of my writing--I treasure those.
I live in a tiny house as well! I am glad I learned to write everywhere before I lived here. Thank you for sharing ...so cute!
Thanks Tammy. I only got a little background of your tiny house on Zoom but it looked so appealing.
I loved this! I’m actually visiting my grandparents in their Florida home at the moment, so it was a very timely read. Thanks for sharing. ❤️
Thanks Emily, enjoy your time with your grandparents.
:) Thank you!
